8/10/2023 0 Comments Used 2003 pontiac vibe gt t9448![]() ![]() I'm planning on repainting the Vibe, but I will continue with the Maroon color. Somebody has put tinting on the back window over the rear defroster, so I'm not bothering it. I have no idea what year model the Vibe is yet. I'm hoping to find an owners manual on e-bay. The AC and the heater works well in the Vibe also. My sister said they have driven the Vibe to Arkansas many times and it still performs well. I have the check written out and ready to purchase my first Pontiac. The Pontiac handled the rough I 20 very well. It does use more fuel than my Honda Accord though. I drove it to Fort Worth a week ago and I'm happy with its performance. The Poniac Vibe has plenty of get up and go. I have to park my 2002 Honda Accord from now on. I need something reliable to drive from Longview TX to Fort Worth TX many times. So I am buying my relatives Pontiac Vibe. Now my transmission in the Honda refuses to work on the highway. A lot of overdrive features aren't effective when the vehicle is already in drive, the switch in the drive and over drive when passing a truck on the highway works better than some cars do in younger years such as 2008-2012.I drove my relatives Pontic Vibe while my 2002 Honda Accords transmission was being worked on. I love the overdrive feature, it works as it does in many late model vehicles. I am also losing mine in a similar manner. My grandmother has completely lost her fenders around her front passenger tire and passenger door. The trim on the exterior body of the vehicle is popular for falling off. What I dislike about the vehicle is trim feature. There's tons of packing departments, stealth stashes, two forms of car chargers and low mechanical issues. The car is known for it's travel features. I purchased the vehicle from a used car dealer with minor issues, however to push the car's lifetime a little further, my father and I replaced the engine, shocks, and mounted a radio as well as some interior details. The thing I like about it most is the mileage I get out of my gas. My vehicle, a 2003 Pontiac Vibe was a car that I sought out after driving my grandmother's 2002 version. Overall though, I'm just being nitpicky because I absolutely love my car. Maybe because I purchased my Vibe used, it just didn't have it, but I don't want to have to buy a separate piece of equipment just to keep my things from rolling around in the back. I would also like a cargo net or something in the back. Also, the console is slightly small and there's not a lot of storage options, but that's not really a problem since I'm not the most organized person in a car anyway. The only thing I don't like is that there seems to be a little bit of a blind spot as the driver where my peripherals are blocked out at times because of the plastic bar near the window. The gas mileage is incredible as long as the tires are taken care of, if they're underinflated though, you lose a lot of that benefit, so be sure to keep them well cared for. It performs well on both the highway and in my small city. It is very responsive and has a lot of "get up and go" which is great for someone who is a defensive driver. The biggest one being that I haven't had any issues with it in five years! This was astounding to me, as there's always something going on with cars for me, but this one is perfect. ![]()
